Scaled to perfection
This intricate model is finely detailed in every way. The accuracy is amazing. It comes from the Neptune stable of perfectly researched 1: 1250 scale metal models.

An unexpected and thrilling plot, well thought out
I've seen the film several times, the plot is brilliant set in the "sleepy" Western islands of Germany before WW1. It tells of a relationship between a British sailor and a university friend on one sailing boat and a young girl, her mother and "German" father who are on another boat. A plot unravels wonderfully.
Erskine Childers has obviously some espionage background to come up with such a cracking plot. His own demise seemed to be a bit ironic. I shall leave the reader to find out that.

New reference source
I recently purchased this item as it covered the ships of the Gernan Navy that very little is written about. Extremely pleased with the quality of the book and the detail of the ships covered. Recommended
