good product for reasonable price

needle tip is and actual needle, but softer metal so it can break down fast, but it still will be small enough to work with most smd components on pcb. fits well to both my devices multimeter and current clamps.

Good product. Reasonable price

Pros: does not bottleneck 1080ti stock at PCIe Gen 2.0. Cons: cable is stiff, not easy to bend. items that I received had bend in male end, had to resolder connector holder (not data pins, but three parts for holding {two on sides and one in middle}) to pcb, because bending what huge and did not fit to the motherboard. That is not a problem if you are modder like me,, if you just want plug and play product buy at you local store for bigger price...

Short debrief

At stock speeds and voltage with 95TDP rated air cooler core temperature delta over ambient 30-32'C @ various burnin tests. As a used product it has no obvious performance or thermal problems at stock settings. I have no current clamps, so power draw @ 12V CPU rail is unknown. Assembled with ASUS m3a h/hdmi. due MB weak 4+1 phase VRM design and weak air cooler OC is light only 9% with +100mV raise to get stable system. that results temperature increase in idle ~10'C, load ~7'C and burn in stress tests ~5'C. and peak core temperature reaches 61'C @ ~24'C ambient. used software: Win7 64bit OS; HWinfo, Prime95, Furmark, AIDA64 bios 2101 thermal compound beQuiet DC1
