Vivaldi The Four Seasons
I first heard this on vinyl 40 years ago and and thought it was an excellent performance on a Decca fourht edition vinyl. I bought a first edition Decca vinyl a few years back and it was superb.
The recording engineer (Harry Fisher I think) made a superb master it was crystal clear and beautifully balanced.
It is amazing that the CD is of superb quality given the recording was made in 1958.
Fabulous recording, great rhythmic performance it moves at a good pace as one expects from Munchinger.
My favourite recording of this excellent Vivaldi work, and i have many recordings.

Superb playing.
Recording not the best quality as it was made in the old USSR a long time ago. However the playing is superb.
