A strong, reliable workhorse
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich Released in 2009, it was ground-breaking at the time, and is still a strong, reliable workhorse. I have newer, better bodies, but I do some work that just requires a solid performer that can handle lots of clicks. The D3s shines for that work. For the price on the used market these days, the D3s is a bargain considering what it can deliver. Fast AF, good in low light, 9 FPS, and just keeps on going ... and going.

Exactly like the rubber I replaced.
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich Considering the premium price over generic replacement rubber, I was hoping these parts would come in Nikon packaging as validation that they are, in fact, genuine Nikon. That said, I saw nothing to make me question the parts. All the tiniest details and features matched with the parts I removed from the camera. The new parts fit perfectly.
Be sure you completely remove any old adhesive and clean the surfaces well. I used isopropyl alcohol. Both of the front grip components have features that tuck in around the lens mount. Start the installation there being careful to hold rest of the part away from the camera body so it doesn't stick in the wrong place. Once those features are completely tucked into place, lay the rest of the piece down carefully. Once in place, press the entire grip component thoroughly into the camera body to ensure good adhesion.

A clear step up from the Black.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I've had a Dragonfly Black for a while which I used with my iPod at work. I listen to Grado 325 cans both at home and work. Thought I'd pick up a Dragonfly for home too and was curious about the Red. I got an Open Box which cut the price enough that it was a WTH. When it came I was prepared to pick through a few tracks and A/B with the Black to see if I could hear much of a difference.
That never happened. As soon as it was plugged in the difference was obvious. It's just better. Better transients, solid bass, better sound stage, better clarity. If you can swing it, go for it.
