I miss Mez-itz
Yeah, I know they still make Mez-itz, but they're not the same they were 15 years ago. This was one of the last sets that Mezco made in this style way back when, I missed out on it, and I found it here on Ebay from a rad seller. This style of mez-itz was more clunky and fun than the newer style. Plus the newer ones just don't have the articulation of these older ones.

In my top ten albums of Alt rock from the 90's
It's too bad Daisy Chainsaw didn't make but one other album after this. They were true originals back in the 90's.....following their own path of bizarre shredding guitars mixed with pop melodies (a la early Jesus and Mary Chain)....This album was one of my favorite cassettes back in high school/college.....so I just had to buy it again (for the third time) on ce

No Alternative, No Doubt Rocks

It's an excellent example of what a grand compilation should be:
A variety of artists and rock music that all hold together as an solid album.
The only problem I have with the cd version, is the Sonic Youth song "Burning Spear" is only available on the cassette version. But don't let that stop you from buying this cd. Because the other 19 songs more than make up for the missing SY song.
Album highlights are provided by Pavement, Matthew Sweet, Barbara Manning, Beastie Boys, Smashing Pumpkins, Goo Goo Dolls, American Music Club, and Straightjacket Fits. These are the songs I find myself repeating over and over. The rest are all solid rockers as well.
Do yourself a favor, and buy this disc, cuz it usually goes for cheap and you cant beat cheap awesome music.
