Very darkly humorous
"Welcome Back, Frank" was very funny, if you enjoy dark humor. It was, basically, a story about The Punisher returning to his usual work after some unexplained hiatus. He is working alone this time, without his usual assistant Microchip. If you have seen the movie "The Punisher" starring Tom Jane, this story will feel familiar. This is the book that movie was loosely based on. However, it is very different from that movie, so don't feel like there's nothing new to see in the book if you've already seen it. If anything, it bears much more resemblance to The Punisher video game from 2004, specifically the Punisher vs the Gnucci family storyline. There is also a running side story about copycat vigilantes in the city, and one about excessively unlucky police detective Martin Soap.
It is not an origin story. He is already very much The Punisher, in full swing, at the start of the book.
It is very much a dark comedy, with the wickedness and stupidity of the criminals Punisher is after often played for laughs. However it also explores his reluctant connection with his basic humanity, as his neighbors in the apartment building he lives in continue to reach out to him and try to befriend him.
The art inside is nothing like the cover, just to fairly warn you, but it is not bad, as far as comic book art goes.
If you enjoy stories where bad things happen to bad people, and are not bothered by exaggerated violence, then you may like this book. There is a LOT of violence, but, you probably expect that anyway, since we're talking about The Punisher.

Back when Duke Nukem was cool
This is good old Duke Nukem 3D (back from 1996), but for the PS4. The control scheme is set up fine for a gamepad, and you can switch at your leisure between old and new 3d rendering styles. There is a new episode exclusive to the 20th anniversary edition as well. There is also a new feature that activates when you are killed, allowing you to pick whichever point from the last few minutes of play you wish to go back to, rather than have to restart the level or load your last save. This probably makes it potentially the easiest version of the game.
If you liked Duke Nukem 3D, or you just like 90s era first person shooters, you'll like this. It's WAY better than "Duke Nukem Forever" was.
