Works great!
These worked great with one exception: On the left (driver's) side latch there are sensors that need to "see" a metal insert that is not included with these. The hole on this one is square but my original is round so I had to fabricate one. There are no instructions just like there are no instruction with a cylinder head gasket. Buying spare parts requires the assumption of mechanical skill. There are tutorials online.

Great tire so far. I've used on 3 different sports cars.
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I bought a Porsche Boxster S that came with these a while back and they seemed fine even in faster cornering. I recently purchased a set for my Mini Cooper S and they had great traction through the recent icepocalypse. They had good traction on my driveway that I could barely walk on. So I feel good that these are now on my Mercedes CLK550 that was eating expensive Pilot Sport 3 tires every 7,000 miles of relatively tame driving. Those may give you a track advantage but I'm not driving on a track and so far they don't feel any less sure-footed. Time will tell on longevity.

Worked great but only lasted once
This made the job a breeze. With the oem bolt at 140lb of torque it wouldn't budge, but this tool eased it on all the way without any straining or grunting. The one large caveat is that one of the bearing raced shattered into multiple pieces at some point and I didn't realize it until I removed the tool. I coated everything in grease to be sure but, oh well. For $20 this was a life saver but it was a one time use only.
