A blast from the past
Where do I begin with this old show? I used to watch this show when it was airing on Boomerang and it was one of my favorite shows when I was younger. The Banana Splits were my favorite segments of the program, so I was very excited when I could watch the Splits only. The Splits, themselves, are 4 funny animal costumed characters; Fleagle, a beagle; Bingo, an orangutan; Drooper, a lion; and Snorky, an elephant. The voice actors are Paul Winchell, Daws Butler, and Allan Melvin, respectively. The in show segment, from the ones I watched, are good, I am not going into much detail seeing as I skipped them. The shows songs are also good, my personal favorites are Wait Til Tomorrow, The Show Must Go On, and Soul. A wonderful show, just as good all these years later, a wonderful purchase! One small detail I should mention is the dvd set is Region 2, if you live in anywhere but Japan, Europe, South Africa, and the Middle East, you will need either a region free dvd player, or a pc with VLC player, I believe.
