Ivanhoe
In short - THE best adaptation of this work yet produced. The films length (5 hours) should be daunting to all but the most devoted fans of Scott's - however the film's pacing, cinematography, and AMAZING performances from several actors (especially Ciaran Hinds) make this film a MUST SEE. Wilfred of Ivanhoe, Richard the Lionheart, Robin Hood and the Black Knight have never fared so well as in this BBC /A&E rendition of this legendary adventure.

Delicious tea, wonderful container, perfect gift
This is a delicious black tea in a great presentation container. It makes a fabulous gift when you want to get something special for a friend, or to treat yourself royally! If a six star rating were possible this tea would earn it!

Flyboys - Collector's Edition
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich A RARE TREAT - a film that takes the time to portray part of WWI aviation history ACCURATELY. The CG effects of aeronautic dogfights and acrobatics are astonishing, but not so overdone as to be unbelievable. The storyline stands upon its own merit and therefore does not need to trade upon sloppy, overwrought and overacted emotionalism to carry it through to its stunning conclusion. The film's commentary, not something I usually find particularly interesting, is worth listening to more than once, for all the historical information and perspective it provides the viewer. If you are a pilot, are interested in WWI history, or just enjoy a well crafted, well acted film with an excellent balance of action, adventure and, yes, some romance you will be richly rewarded.
