Unconventional bandage replacement for thumb protection
I use these to protect my thumbs when the skin splits at the nail in dry winter conditions. Cheaper than constantly replacing bandages, they protect and allow the skin to heal.

I bought this item to repaint for a Great Northern Railway maintenance of way vehicle. The model is reasonably close to HO scale and represents a Dodge prototype. The item I bought is well used and has peeling paint. The wheels are toylike in appearance. I haven't yet decided whether to replace them with more accurate parts,

Replacement idler gear for Lionel James or Thomas G gauge engine.
This gear replaces one that broke when our Lionel James G gauge engine tripped at a switch and took a dive to a concrete floor.
