Strong, stand up to abuse
Strong and light, looks high quality. I hit the heavy kicking bag and it survives.

Good self defense cane for two handed swing like a Katana
4 von 4 finden das hilfreich I cut the sharp handle off, it is a good defensive cane without being look at as weapon. It's a little heavy to swing with one hand, but it's good using both hands like a Katana or two handed sword. It can hit hard. It's a strong cane.

I have been practice stick fight with this cane for over a year, putting in hours a week, I read quite a few posts and this is my opinion:
You better practice swinging the cane if you intend to use it for self defense. Don't just carry the cane and think you can use it for self defense. You might want to try swinging the cane to see whether it's too heavy and easy to control. I use two hands to swing the cane.
I am surprised some people talking about using the hook to hook people. If you are an expert, maybe. Most of us that carry a cane are older. Are you really that strong? Last thing you want to do is hook onto the person, and you are not strong enough to pull him in, instead you lose your grip and the other person got you cane and beat you up!!!
Be aware it is very common for the cane/stick to fly off your hand if you try to hit and miss the target. I am surprised people don't talk about this, it happens more often than people realize.

Too bottom handle heavy, need more weight at the tip
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich It is well made, but the problem is it taper down towards the tip, there is not enough mass at the tip to hit hard. Imagine trying to hit the baseball if you turn the bat around and hit with the small end. Try hitting the heavy bag and you'll see it doesn't hit that hard. Even my rattan cane of same weight seems to hit harder.
