Poor galvanising

The galvanising wore away at the wear points within a month and rust set in soon after. I suspect they won't last 12months on my saltwater mooring. Probably perfectly good in other applications.

Nice screwdriver but let down by details

Decent screwdriver let down by a badly ground tip that was nearly 1mm thick and didn't fit any screw I tried it in. Sad for an expensive screwdriver from a once quality make. Maybe I was unlucky...

Quality simple domestic strimmer, recommended

Nice simple strimmer. Seems robust and well made. The line's easy to wind on and the bump feed works well. It's fine on grass and young nettles but as you'd expect struggles with brambles and woodier stuff. Ours is a smallish garden and even a 3 amp battery has plenty of capacity. I bought this as I already have the batteries and charger for my other Makita kit, including the mower. I'm so impressed I'm thinking of getting its big brother brushcutter for some other land I own. Recommended, thoroughly.
