1 von 2 finden das hilfreich Why do you want a pump for standard quart motor oil bottles? You don't need it for oil in the crankcase, you just pour in the oil at the cap on top of the engine. What you need it for is when you're under the vehicle for gear oil. And the tube is too short to reach the bottom of the 1 qt gear oil bottles. They could easily have made the tube a little longer or supplied an extra, longer tube. The other problem is how long it takes to pump. It took around 200 strokes per qt. of gear oil (and that was with emptying only about 4/5 of the bottle.) So, to refill the 2 qt. manual transmission on my Miata, I had to pump about 400 times. Then I had to find a 1 qt motor oil bottle, empty it into another container, and pour in what remained in the 2 gear oil bottles, so I could pump that into the transmission!

It fits and it was relatively inexpensive. How its filtration compares with other brands I can't say, but it's better than the old one full of dirt!
