DR-40x Just what I needed

DR-40x. What can I say. Excellent deal, massive amounts of flexibility because of the amount of inputs and outputs, good battery life, not too many settings as to make it difficult, but does EXACTLY as I need. I shopped around a great deal for this specific item, and I can take it to shows, live broadcast, record and mix with video and more. It has four recording tracks - digitally, and allows me to do much more than just record a line. Ambient recordings, line ins, mic ins, mixer ins, all of that - guitars, keyboards, mics. Simple interface, lightweight and user-friendly. Fast recording off/on, quick access to every recording, easy downloading and card removal - a real winner for me. Solid construction, portable, with a tripod mount built in, it's just what I needed to diversify my game. I can't really say it ups my game, but I can say that I can now do more - on a horizontal expansion - to record differently, better. I could always find a way to record, but this is quick, easy and good quality without a high cost or complicated menus. Excellent deal and a very satisfactory purchase.
