I may be a retrogrouch but for road bike...

I may be a retrogrouch but for road bikes it's hard to beat a good old fashioned non tubeless tire. A cinch to mount and I know from experience gatorskins a excellent puncture resistance and longevity as well

Can be fun for very short amounts of time

First time out I broke the bottom plate on a medium sized jump. After waiting over a month for an upgraded aluminum replacement from china, I reassembled everything and promptly broke a front lower control arm after hitting a flower pot at 25% throttle. I actually have spare lower control arms but no Allen wrench small enough to get the broken one off the car. So time for more waiting... I'm starting to remember why I quit this hobby 10 years ago. Now I have to decide whether to fix it up again and sell it for a loss or just give up and throw it in the trash as is. Unless anyone has a time machine I could borrow?! Then I could go back and make the best decision of all, to not buy this car in the first place. So to sum this all up, while it may seem tempting to buy a very fast car for a cheap price, save yourself the trouble and don't.. or just pretend you did but tell yourself you can't drive it right now because it's broken. Then you'll be in the same boat as me, but with $250 still in your pocket. That's what I call a win-win!!!
