Cartridges getting too old
9 von 10 finden das hilfreich This is the second time that I have bought an old unopened 98X cartridge and found that it did not work properly. It left big gray vertical gray streaks on all the pages. I am skilled at fixing laserprinters and I opened the cartridge to find out what was wrong, and the drum cleaning blade was too hard to effectively clean the drum, and it was not removing the residual toner. I ended up taking the old cleaning blade out of my old cartridge and put it in this "new" cartridge and got it to work. But not one person in 100 would know how to do this, so I can't honestly recommend these old cartridges anymore
