Spectacular low light performance tack sharp for a zoom

Beautiful images at the wife angle side of focal length spectrum. I went with a zoom because I wanted some versatility and I am not disappointed at the sharpness across the entire spread. Great low light performance.

If you're looking to step up from a pocket size point and shoot but don't want to spend the money on an SLR, this type of camera is a good fit. With that in mind if you have decided to buy a camers that is inbetween a point and shoot and an SLR then this a good camera. 12x zoom excellent. manual exposure compensation very good. auto exposure leaves a little bit to be desired. Size good. Optics fantastic! I have never seen anything that can beat leica optics and this camera has them. flash very good. can NOT use SDHC cards co you are limited to 2gb non high capacity cards. has movies with sound. I got mine for $100 bought a squaretrade warranty for piece of mind so you really cant beat the price.
