GAZE AT THESE BEAUTIES OF STEAM ENGINEERING... AND WONDER
Having studied the artistry in and functionality of steam traction for well over 50 years, I assert that these representations - albeit static - in some way represent the 'spirit' of the full-size locomotives. Slightly larger and hence beefier than 'N' scale, they lie close to the one-time 'TT' scale. Detail and colour, etc. are of a high standard and likely as accurate as can be. Wonderful to be able to collect and compare A4 'Mallard' (this engine) with other class members and ditto the A3 Pacifics, etc. Many variations in livery, fittings and other details to be had at reasonable prices. They can be improved by fitting scale headcode lamps, e.g. 'N'.
I do not like the Corgi emblem on the top of the cases and the track lets things down a tad, though can be quickly remedied. Rods and valve gear might possibly benefit from darkening.

SIMPLY THE BEST
I have used several from Peltor - albeit different models - over the last 35+ years, on site as well as to get a few hours sleep in not-so-quiet accommodation! I prefer the neckband type as most I've bought have been as they can be worn in bed... Overall, they're pretty comfy and the difference in the noise attenuation of different models is discernible. From its unobtrusive dark green colour, this model could be a replacement for Peltor's earlier H7B (good when shooting). The H7B I had, broke late last year, although I had got them decades ago and they'd been used very frequently so no complaints whatever as regards the quality.

A VERITABLE GEM OF SIXTIES & SEVENTIES MUSIC
From a Bristol - in America. undamaged casing, disc and insert. The cassette by John Lodge (The Moody Blues) meant so much to me some 45 years ago and long worn-out from playing, so this CD in its stout case- with an additional track (11 - 'Street Cafe') was simply wonderful to listen to again.
