Real pro lens, build like a tank with my highest rank in sharpness for DX.
4 von 5 finden das hilfreich As a pro photographer I still use best Nikon DX camera as special backup camera. And for that I keep looking and upgrading my DX collection of lenses. New "Tokina AT-X PRO 116 11-16 mm F/2.8 DX II" is the best wide zoom in my collection as for 11/12/2014.
It is really Pro lens for DX format. After fine-tune adjustments I find this lens more sharper than any Nikon, Sigma or Tamron DX zooms that range.
I also find it useful for FX format at 16mm in some of the cases, when I don't need much sharpness at the corners, but maximum in the center areas.
Internal silent focusing motor allow this lens to AF on Nikon bodies, which do not have an AF drive gear and motor like D3000 and D5000 series.
Ebay need to change "Detailed item info" for this second Tokina generation of the 11-16mm lens and update new image.
