Installing 64 bit Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate on Parallels 13, onto early 2011 MacBook Pro 13 inch running 10.12.6 macOS Sierra

16 GB RAM (high ram is highly recommended, as this uses a lot of RAM (on a Mac using Parallels 13))

Installed onto Parallels 13
Windows 7 Ultimate (did not include Service Pack 1 which further confirmed its being a completely brand new copy)
This DVD-ROM media of Windows 7 Ultimate was easy to install as a virtual machine on my copy of Parallels 13 on my early 2011 13 inch MacBook Pro running 10.12.6 macOS Sierra (High Sierra is not recommended *yet* for installing Parallels 13).
Completely genuine brand new copy.
Both 32 & 64 bit discs were included.
Disc installed Windows much faster than USB media of the same software would have installed. Something like 30 minutes! Really quick for a brand new install (I had no copy of Windows installed previous to this).
Do keep in mind that my Mac has a disc drive, and all modern Retina MacBook Pros (and newer) do *not* have onboard disc drives. If you want to install this onto a newer Mac as mentioned, you would need a SuperDrive USB disc drive (or other compatible USB disc drive) to install said media.
I'm going to access Windows Update on Ultimate to download and install Service Pack 1 update (a lot of software requires Service Pack 1 to be installed). I confidently expect update to go swimmingly.

I will include this disclaimer: be careful about buying cheap copies of Windows 7 Ultimate at prices that seem too good to be true. Remember that this software used to cost well above $200. This software is valuable even if you only think about how few of these brand new completely genuine copies are likely available on the market (we are almost in 2018 now). This software, notably, is still currently supported by Microsoft.
