all plastic, but effective

Takes work, but does the job
Works good as long as your zucchini isn't too fat (i.e. cucumber diameter is too big) and as long as you don't have arthritis in your hands (lots of turning involved.) I like that it gives you two choices for noodle width, and it's white plastic casing is probably worth the extra 2 bucks rather than the simpler "pencil sharpener" options. FYI, you are left with a long cone-shaped bit of zucchini that you need to cut off periodically to keep making noodles. If blades get dull at some point I'll buy the $2-3 version next time and consider it disposable.
