    Smart way of teaching how to read.
    The author brings this book to life with her personal story about Dewey. Dewey's picture, and a number of other wonderful illustrations are seen throughout the book. The pictures make the pages interesting to both the child and teacher. I like how the letters are gradually added to the word to show how a word is made. The directions for the teacher are easy to follow too. I will keep this book forever.
