A Masterpiece from Mr Anderson in Music from Start to Finish
Can I say I first heard Blue Tango and Sleigh Ride on Classic FM. I had no idea who Leroy Anderson was at the time, but I have since learnt a lot about him. This CD is FANTASTIC. Every Tune is a MASTERPIECE. My Favourite (and it was difficult) is Forgotten Dreams.
Each time I hear it (and I have heard it over the years) but I had no idea it was by Mr Anderson, it brings a tear to my eyes its so moving. Blue Tango, The Typewriter, Sandpaper Ballet, Sleigh Ride, Plink, Plank, Plunk to name a few are all Delightful and so beautifully composed.
This CD is a Must for All or New Leroy Anderson Fans. And I am so PROUD to finally have it in my Collection.
