Phenomenal must read!
This is a phenomenal book, by an amazing author! I believe this book should be required reading in all high schools! It will challenge you to take a good look in the mirror, and learn something important. An absolute must read!

Just what it says - a memoir - bitter-sweet and engaging
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Being personally familiar with this community, I held my opinion of this book/author and it's opposing voices until I had read it... It is good - there are things that made me laugh, things that brought back memories, and things that made me upset; but it is just what it says on the cover - a memoir. This is the author's bitter-sweet memoir of HER life's journey, told from HER perspective. [I would actually like to meet the author, as I think I could actually relate well with her]... Her book is well-written and engaging - the only thing left is that it would be nice to know a bit more about the lives of her and her son now...
