Hours of entertainment and education, great value.
A meticulous retelling of the lives and times of various Roman Emperors. Sensitive and prestigious acting, with the appropriate scenes also discussed in detailed documentary form. The costumes and scenic settings are authentic, giving a detailed insight into the political, military and religious turmoil of the times. A set of DVDs that can be watched just for entertainment, but also invaluable to anyone in formal education studying this period. An excellent purchase!
