A Great Miniseries
Being a Roman Empire Historian, the miniseries is very engaging. Naturally, like other miniseries, it does get a little "watered down" in some spots. A stellar cast helps to smooth out the rough spots. The climax is well worth the wait. This two-disc version runs about 331 minutes. Well worth the money.

The Sherlock Holmes Collection Vol. 1
I've always been a fan of this series of films. The Restoration is a wonder, and these fims have not looked this good in a long time!
Cable showings of the Woman in Green and some others, would always have the Universal Studios logo blocked out, and Leo G. Gutman was super-imposed over it. It is now so good, to now own this series of Films on DVD. To older viewers like myself, Basil Rathbone was the definitive Sherlock Holmes.

A great film score! One of my favorites.
This music was composed by 2 of the best Film Composers. The score is every bit as good as the film.
