New favorite thing.
This works awesome with climbing stand. Moves up and down very quickly and quietly on tree. It makes climbing so much better for me. I take it to all stands with me. Got rid of all belt style straps.

Way better than rope.
The HSS bow & grear hoist is about as easy as it gets. I've used it a dozen time so far with my climber. I've attached it to the climber itself, stabilizer straps, backpack, and belt loop. Haven't lost it yet while climbing. If you have ever messed around with any style rope this is way worth the money. Things i dislike. It is noisy when you crank it back in. Not eough to really bother me but it's there. If i carry it in my cargo pocket it bangs together and makes noise when i walk. Easily avoided by carrying it somewhere else but that has always been my go to rope spot. Tension will not pull up on your bow, however. If you drop it the weight of the body itself is enough to reel it out.
