    Sean Connery at his slowest.
This was an okay bond film, I felt that they really didn't put to much monies into it. It kinda dragged a little, but the under water scene's were great. To complete your bond 50 collection you need to have it.

The Summer of 1965-66 Down on Sunset Strip L.A.
The Sixties aren't over yet,Nor will they be ever over. For those who missed it you can Flash back to these times on Dvd.I myself have been Flashing since 1965.There are those out there who would either agree or disagree with me, But in 1965-66 you could go down to the strip in L.A. and there they were, The Mama's and the Papa's,Love,Bob Dylan,The Byrds,The Buffalo Spring Field. The Streets were alive, People were alive, The Clubs were where it was at,The Whisky a go go, It's Boss,The phone booth,Pandora's Box,The Trip, And what a trip it was. Now it was Government Manufactured Pharmaceutical Quality LSD that started the Sixties. I grew up in Thousand Oaks Calif. In 1965 my friends and I were all dropping Sandoz LSD, We were well on the way towards higher Consciousness, We used to have a saying back then..."Anything less than Pharmaceutical Quality was impure. Nobody made better LSD than the Government, They made the best. However they considered it more of a threat than the Vietnam War. Why? Because with the advent of LSD, there came Psychedelic Music, Psychedelic Rock Poster Art,Psychedelic Dungeon's were Popping up everywhere, It was as if all of a Sudden we were all on the same channel and this Counter Culture movement came out of it. It was a De-Programming Drug. Let's face even today The Government and Corporate World have a Vested interest in the Control and Manipulation of Individual and Collective Consciousness. They are spending Billions of dollars every year to make sure you are programmed. For those out there who would like too should also check out the Dvd "legends of the Canyon" by Henry Diltz. It started in L.A.By the latter part of the 1966, They were going to tear down Ben Franks on the strip, A coffee shop where,Beat Niks,Poets, Artists,Hippies,Flower Children and Mystic's would hang out. What started out as a peaceful protest turned into a Riot. They had even made a film about it called,"Riot on Sunset Strip." Then the scene moved up to the Haight Street,(Haight Asbury) San Francisco. It was John Phillip's of the Mama's and the Papas to put on "The Monterey Pop." It was a Glorious time to be alive. But they're not over yet. As Yesterday's Past is today's Future, so too, Tomorrow's past is Today's Future. Drink that in. John F. Kennedy once said..."United in thought,There isn't anything the people in this country can't do,Divided in thought,There is little we can do. The Philosophy of the the Republicans and The Rich and Shameless is this..."Divide and Conquer." "Man proposes and God Disposes.' The Government and Corporate World have Big Plans for America and the World. But God has other Plans. So Mote it Be!!! "IAM" that IAM"

The Sixties,LSD and the Counter Culture
This was a fairly good view about the sixties. However as a Counter culture person who lived through and experienced the Sixties, The best film I've seen yet was shown in Calif back in the Eighties. It was called "Echo's of the Sixties" narrated by John Ritter ans Suzanne Somers. The Film literally captured the Magic of the Sixties. I cannot find it anywhere I've looked. The Sixties were the most Musical, Mystical, Magical Time in the history of Mankind. However the DVD "The Sixties" doesn't really tell the whole truth. It did not start in San Francisco, it started in L.A. In 1964,1965 you could go down to the strip and there they were the Byrd's, The Lovin Spoonful,The Mama's and the Papa's, "Love seven and seven is" Bob Dylan they were right out on the street and they would hang out with you and party with you. The streets were alive, It was a Glorious time. In Nov, of 1966 there were riots down on the strip, they were going to tear down Ben franks. They even made a Movie about it called "Riot on Sunset Strip." You cannot get this Film Either, I've Tried. Then as Mysteriously as it appeared, it disappeared. Then the whole scene moved up to the Haight Street in San Francisco. Now No matter what anybody tells you, It was Government Manufactured,Pharmaceutical Quality LSD that altered Consciousness in the Sixties and started the whole Counter Culture Movement. But the Sixties aren't over yet. The "United States of Corporations" lives in fear of Peace, Love and Happiness. Bottom Line, The Rich and Shameless have big plans for America and the World. But God who lives in the heart of everyman has other plans. Would I recommend the DVD "The Sixties" Yes I would. Could I make a better film on the Sixties if I had the money, Yes I could. Be that as it may. Buy the film light up a Joint kick back get your head tight and enjoy. So Mote it Be! "IAM" Jaimegirl1967
