Overlooked curio of a collection...
Interesting idea! A tribute album to a band by artists that most wouldn't associate with the source. Jane's Addiction's cover of "Ripple" is a stand out, while the rest range from fair to excellent. Collectively, not bad, yet, not essential, unless you're a modern music fan who can deal with the Dead. or a DeadHead, for whom, an understanding of modern music isn't out of reach.
