Nikon DF-M1 Dot Sight
Only used it in a few occasions with D750. When and after set up properly, it provides a bigger view field and accurate indication of focus point for 500mm tele-lense.
Re-adjustment is needed every time after remounting -- which is a pain but understandable as the hot shoe mounting does not provide high enough orientation repeatability .
Though not tried yet, I believe it will work better in conjunction with a camera with AI-assisted AF which helps to focus and track objects of interest, after manually select a nearby or small outlined field.
