This will not fit your e30
First off, I believe this lip is for an e34. It's too long and the clips will need to be shaved off to fit an e30. Second, mine had a crack in one of the corners, I can fix it with some epoxy. Quality seems strong, but probably due to poor shipping/handling. Third, I'm just disappointed that I'll have to do so much work for this to fit my car, nevertheless if you are handy and willing, it will be a great addition to your e30.

Bang for the buck
You'll notice right out of the package that is not made from quality materials. The material feels weak when opening, and the latch doesn't fully open. Yet it works, and i also own a MTC shift knob that has held up great for two years. I gave it four stars only because price, shipping speed, and past purchases from MTC.

Great product, great power.
I was expecting a beat up well used product, but to my surprise it was in very good condition. This thing really has some power.
