Could have done better for the money.

The right hand grip was loose and had to be reglued. The controls required a bit more effort to actuate. The rubber cover for the battery grip was missing. I realise it is a used camera, but would have liked to see the above mentioned. I can't say the camera was misrepresented, but i may have chosen another in better shape.

Fcus problems with VR1

This is my third 55-200. The first two were original vr versions. Both stopped auto focusing. The first lasted quite a while (8+ yrs) The second less than 6 mos..It is a very sharp lens for the money. The vr2 is both smaller and lighter,and hopefully more reliable..
