Only cooks top half of bacon!
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Quite disappointed. I was hoping someone had finally got bacon in the oven right. No matter how you turn the rack, the bottom half of the bacon is undone. I end up having to turn the bacon to cook it evenly, which defeats the purpose of putting it in the oven and not having to mess with it. It also seems to take a long time to bake. If you increase the oven temp, the top half burns & the bottom is uncooked. The first time I used it, I filled up the rack. So much bacon was undone that I ended up putting most of it in the microwave to finish cooking, again defeating my purpose of easy, unmessy bacon cooking. If you are only cooking a few pieces, laying them across the top of the rack does work well but who wants only 4 pieces of bacon for a family meal? On a good note, clean up is as promised, quick & easy. I just wish it cooked the whole strip of bacon without having to mess with it mud way through.

Underpowered.
Item very underpowered. More than slight pressure on the skin will stop it from rotating. Still--didn't have high expectations due to price of item.

Handy gadgets to have!
Grinding works well. One of the 2 I purchased has a light that doesn't work but it's not a huge deal. You have to be careful with the salt, even on smallest grind setting, it comes out in large quantity. We don't use a lot of salt, so again, not a huge deal. LOVE having fresh ground pepper. They were a big hit at the Labor Day BBQ. I see some being given as gifts soon!
