Some history, but a LOT of drama.

Well acted, beautifully shot, but historically questionable. Too much time was spent making Fremont look like a fool for believing politicians.

Great adaptation of a classic.

One of the best films ever made. The writing was classic, the performances were superb, cinematography was beyond belief.
