Platinum 3776 is an ideal model for entry level gold nib fountain pen.
You can expect twice of the value for what you paid for.

Great value for premium writing experience
Platinum pens are renowned for their quality and reliability. While its 3776 line gathers most of attention but I find President is definitely higher quality in terms of the finish, balance, nib smoothness and reliability. It writes so smooth and provide a subtle feedback, which I find extremely pleasant to write with. Recommend this Platinum flagship to everyone!

Fantastic workhorse pen
Comparing to Sailor and Platinum, Pilot's nib is polished to write buttery smooth with minimum feedback. Whoever likes the feeling of gliding across the paper should definitely try this model!
