Pretty good, but take care!

Construction is quite nice. I was hoping for keyhole slots on the back so that I could wall hang it, but no such luck. The switches & LEDs are useful, but there is no way to switch off the entire hub at once. This may be a problem in some instances. The USB lead is flat and fairly short, but seems to be well made. The power supply lead is, unfortunately, rather short. If you know what you are doing you could always splice another length of cable into it though, I suppose. Now the problem. If you use this as a powered hub it will put 5v back into your computer via the USB connector. This isn't generally harmful, but it can lead to problems like the machine refusing to boot until you unplug the USB hub. If you use a Raspberry Pi it will keep it powered up from the hub - you can't shut the machine down and on some versions you are powering it without any thermal fuse protection! I got around this by using a scalpel to open up a short length of the USB lead & cutting the red (5v) wire. The hub has to be powered now, but there is no back feed. This isn't a mod to be taken lightly - the blue insulation is fairly tough and you have to be very careful not to damage any of the other wires in there. I just snipped the red wire, pulled the ends out and bent them back. A layer of heatshrink over that is fine.
