Technical prep of the MOBO was outstanding.
The real hero here is the shop tech that checked out the mobo before hand and then took the time to put extra bubble wrap in the USPS box. Good think he did. The box arrived with rips in it and I feared the worst. The extra padding was a saving grace. Who wants to fight with USPS for insurance etc...
The board fired up without incident and works as expected. As a former computer engineer I believe my acceptable expectation may be more than the average bear.
