Solid hard back books with great binding, pages are very durable.
Geoffrey W. Bromiley is the author one should seek when searching for an International Standard Bible Encyclopedia. I actually bought Vol. 3 at an extremely low price. Then I bought the full four volume set at an exceptionally low price. I got lucky. The Book Covers were still in pretty good shape, and the hard back and bindings were very good in spite of their age. They were well made at the time they were published in 1939. I will get good use out of them in years to come, and plan on passing them down to my children.

The entire set was intact and in good condition. Just the right size and content.
It is exactly what I was looking for. It took me just a little effort to locate the entire set.
