The Thing
I liked the original and this re-make is far superior to that. I felt the original with James Arness as the Alien was more tongue-in-cheek but still a worthwhile watch. The special effects helps the movie intensely. Kurt Russell does a great job as Macready the pilot. I think that this makes alot more sense than the original. One lone enemy versus everyone is suspect. I recommend this to all science fiction fans.

Iron Man 2
The second installment of the Iron Man series. It has elements that are really interesting. The special effects are really great. I was disappointed that they changed out his best friend for this movie. Not that I have anything against Don Cheedle. It was more that they threw a monkey wrench into the mix and I didn't appreciate it. Mickey Roark did make a good bad guy, although the story line was a little weak in this area. All in all it was a pretty entertaining movie.

the chronicles of narnia
I generally don't like religious themed movies. I find them boring and slanted. I did however like this movie. They kept the religious references to a minimum and this is a really great story. I know that they have made a sequel already out in the theaters and I plan to watch that one too. the fantasy adventure genre has a really great product in this movie. I would suggest to anyone that loves sci-fi and fantasy movies to check it out.
