Beautiful Tension Rod...
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich This is a tension rod that doesn't really look like a tension rod - that's a good thing. The hardest part of the installation was unwrapping it. Just a few tips: CLEAN the tiles or area where the ends will go before you put this up (seriously - a little prep work goes a long way). Even if you just use a little windex or alcohol and a razor blade if there is soap scum buildup. Do not try to install where the walls are flimsy (thin-walled construction) or uneven (uneven plaster). I believe it says it will hold up to 35 pounds, but remember... this isn't a closet rod. Refrain from hanging too many clothes to dry and then wondering why the rod fell. Definitely no chin-ups.

Will Save You Weight In Your Bag...
Will get you out of a pinch when you come across a tri-groove security nut or other odd design. Easy to carry if you need to keep it lite. Don't use on painted hardware (wet or dry) or you'll be cleaning and unclogging it. Keep it bathed in WD40 and don't put to much force on it. I've had mine for years, and finally got this one for a friend.

Here's How To Really Secure This Nifty Thing...
Yes, the outlet has to have exposed terminals (with no electrical tape or recessed screws - but an electrician or experienced handyman can address that). And yes, the plastic plate could crack and break as the only thing holding the whole thing in place is one small outlet cover screw into the plastic plate. But creative genius being what it is, I have a solution for everyone. On the back of the plate, up where the big flat surface is (behind the USB ports), use two 3M Command Strips to safely secure it to the wall (and please don't forget the outlet cover screw). They're just thick enough, double stick, can hold some weight (usually around 3-5 lbs - enough for a phone or iPad), keeps this from shifting, and can be removed without damaging the wall which makes everyone happy. You'll thank me later.
