Great book and well worth the price.
Pros: Great color photos of North American wildlife and habitat, information regarding the color used and drawing techniques for the artist.
Cons: The book is a bit pricy, but is well worth the money.

Richard Schmid's "Painting the Figure" is an absolute must for every artist!!!!!!!!
For the artist who wishes to increase his/her skills at doing portraits of people, Richard Schmid's "Painting the Figure" is an absolute must. He discusses the materials needed, paint mixing, supports, brushes, and mediums... among many other topics. An artist can use this information in other areas of painting such as painting landscapes, still lives, and abstracts.

The title says it all, "Radiant Oils: Glazing Techniques for Paintings that Glow". Awesome!!!
Radiant Oils by Arleta Pech is a beautiful book containing some of the most "radiant" color photographs I have ever seen in any publication. I am relatively new to the painting technique of glazing, and am finding this book to be a genuine blessing to the learning of this painting process. I highly recommend "Radiant Oils" to both the new painter as well as those who consider themselves to be old tars in the arts. Great seller. Item shipped quickly and securely.
