Above all, I love to write childrens books & I'm a TX Master Gardener. I am a gentle soul that loves nature, animals, and gardening. I love ladybugs! My homestead includes my family of chickens.

    The Seller sent this beautiful sweater wrapped in lilac tissue paper that matched the sweater. Talk about class, it was like buying a purchase from an upper class store back in the day when I worked a Hudson's. I already have a flower skirt to wear with it. This Seller is wonderful. Peter Rabbit: The Christmas Tale of Peter Rabbit HC + CD - Emma Thompson 2013

New character emerges
This is a newer version of Peter the Rabbit written by Emma Thompson in 2013. She delightfully adds a Christmas character to interact with the rabbits family. It's a turkey who is VERY proud of his feathers, and suffice it to say is a little gullible. The rabbits come to his rescue in a funny way. It's a delightful story!

Barbara Cooney's art touches the heart
This book consisted of two loves that I have. One, for fine literature as the story is originally based on Chaucer's Nun's Priest tale. Two, Barbara Cooney's art, I truly hold close to my heart. I first found her when I was searching for Maine artists and writers, as Maine is also dear to my heart. She has illustrated over 200 books, I try to find them at thrift stores and church sales, and think of it as a found treasure when I do.
