Good buy
This is just as others have said. Very durable, plenty fast on stock gearing given its soft suspension and higher center of gravity. The one downside is that you need a lot of room to run it. Think football field. My mt4g3 is faster and has more torque. I run Losi XXL-2e wheels and tires on that rig, but it's smaller size and lower ground clearance means that it is challenged in smaller and less imposing settings.
Said another way, the X-Maxx is at its best tearing through construction sites or public lands. It's capabilities are so high that normal challenges aren't really challenges at all, and therefore aren't satisfying.

In case it's not obvious, you have to wind the hose tightly in a left to right pattern to fit the entirety of the length. I have another mode that does not have a hose guide and inevitably my hands get filled with dirt after I water the lawn.
