One size fits most?
This is a well made holster to be sure, but has an extremely large and open bottomed area for the pistol to fit into. Both a Springfield .40 full size with light on the bottom rail, and a vintage colt 1911 all but fell out the bottom. There is an internal Velcro area to close up the holster to fit your pistol, but Velcro is no match for a weighty pistol and it opened back up in no time. I was able to tailor fit mine using some rivets as needed and now the fit is flawless, but unless you have a huge pistol, it will need some work.

Limited uses
This fabric is a very nice black with a consistently tight weave, but is thin while also being stiff. It crinkles like paper when you bunch it or run your hand over it. It is far too thin for upholstery, and far too stiff for clothing. Possibly nice for draperies or tablecloths, neither of which was why I purchased it.
