White Collar, Too Good for broadcast TV
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Truly clever and catchy show. My reason for contending that it couldn't be broadcast on CBS, ABC, NBC or FOX? Simple, not enough sex, violence or nudity. If that's what you're after, watch broadcast. But if you want a show that is great for the reasons that TV used to be great, then, White Collar is for you.
And another thing, it's not one of those completely serious (and gorey - and very overbearing) crime shows that take itself so seriously.
Me, I can't want for new episodes.

An Unparrelleled Set - at almost any price!
This set is very informative - so much so that many of the very dramatic revelations pertaining to WWII and the Cold War (sorry, I haven't yet seen the ones on the Gulf War and Viet Nam to judge) before it was first aired in the mid-90's were either little or totally unknown. Many of the episodes are very riveting. All are interesting.
It was aired first I believe on the History Channel in the early 2,000's under the title, "Sworn to Secrecy" back when the History Channel used to air shows on, what a concept, history. The show was then discontinued and then, gained limited distribution and sold on a per-episode basis by Time-Life. It was, however, until now not available at any price in wide distribution.
Within the past 5 years, the former Military Channel aired a few episodes under the title, "History Exposed."
However, this is the first time it has received wide distribution - at any price, let alone at this very reasonable price.
a must-have for anyone interested in history, especially WWII.
