Lots of zap for the money!
I bought a cheaper zapper at a box store a year ago and was disappointed right off, but it worked, so we ran with it. One year later it died, so this time I spent the extra money (this was the best value/price I could find also) and got a good one. I had one like this that was purchased used at an auction for several years and it worked well but eventually died, not sure if it was the same brand or not but appearance wise I'd say it was. This one has been the boss! It's like having a bird feeder every morning underneath this thing! It kills swarms of bugs, we live in the country and by the woods so we have plenty to go around. If you do purchase this unit I will say that you may consider where you put it, it is "very" bright, I mean it's outside one of my windows and lights up the whole room inside, no night lights needed to go through that part of the house in the middle of the night. If it lasts as long as the used one we had a few years ago, I most certainly would recommend it to anyone!

Worked well but only for 4-5 months, still quite pleased
This is our second time around with this collar, I chose it over the drops down our dogs back (knowing that stuff has to soak into our dogs bloodstream in order to work, which can't be good for him). It worked very well and I'm pleased with it's performance, but it should be labeled as a 4-5 month collar not 7-8 month. I'm still choosing it over the drops, just have to be more on top of the time frame for it's performance.

Wonderful true story of faith, a must have for any missionary movie collection!
One of my favorite missionary stories. I'm not a movie critic, but I'm familiar with Gladis Ailward's life. The movie unfortunately has been "holywoodised" (added to an already ineradicable story of faith, and left out some of the most extraordinary parts of her life), but non the less, still an awesome addition to anyone's movie collection!
