Ultegra 9 speed gear is good value, durable, and well designed

A Transitional Work in Ransome’s Developement
It was really wonderful to be able to read this long lost book. It was written by Ransome during the transitional period before he wrote the dozen classic books for which he was famous.
It is not a book that I recommend highly on its own merits. Ransome was posturing a bit in his writing, and the clean, clear, enthusiastic voice for which he became famous is not yet evident in this work.

Good Value
Like other Ultegra stuff, this hits the sweet spot between upper level performance and lower level (relatively speaking) price. Shimano also makes worthwhile gear that is less costly for those who need more savings.
