- p***p (106)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Vor über einem JahrBestätigter KaufSeller gave rave review on this copy (of a rare lens), but I was skeptical.Upon inspection, seller told complete truth, lens was in one of the best condition (very clean, snappy, no issues) and definitely worth the price. Really fast delivery from seller too (and cheap shipping) Would recommend, and I'll buy from again.

no loss of sharpness
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Paired with my 300mm f4 PRO this gives 840mm f5.6 (equiv), perfect for birding. I detect no loss of sharpness.

Broken aperture
This (and four other of my Nikon 1 lenses) suffers from an unreliable cable harness which controls the electronically-controlled aperture. The aperture is stuck at the f/16 position.

works well with Shutter-Speed app
As a test I measured the shutter speeds on my Minolta Maxxum 5, a late-model film camera with a reliable electronically-controlled focal plane shutter. The Shutter-Speed app measured .the camera setting of 1/125 s as 1/123 s, a complete vindication of the tester. For a light source I used my Kaiser Slimlite Plano, an LED lightbox which I use for camera scans of negatives and slides. I laid the camera lens-down on the lightbox, and held the tester sensor on the Maxxum film rails while I tripped the shutter with my other hand.
I used the app with my iPhone SE. The app records a 3-second trace, which looks like a flat line except for a blip where the shutter opened and closed. Expand that blip with your fingers on the touch screen, then position the two sliders to mark the beginning and end of the blip. The shutter speed reading is displayed. Voila!
