A WW-II, jem from the past...
This little 1958 jem just resurfaced in 2011. It's a story from the Long Range Desert Group (LRDG), the real Rat Patrol of the desert. The accuracy of the movie is better than the norm of the day for war movies. Highly recommended to those interested in WW-II North Africa. A nice movie for all military DVD collections
As in ALL DVD purchases, make sure you get the right zone for your country.

One handed latch.
There's are a lot of good fender bags out there with buckles and snaps that are kind of a pain to get into. What I like the most is the one handed operation to latch or unlatch it, even while riding. The inner zipper flap I just fold it down inside the pouch, until it rains, then, I zip it up, close the flap and keep going. There is plenty of room to keep things at hand with quick access. The key for me is the easy access latch.

The Italian Army at El Alamein
This is a VERY good film about an Italian army unit holding the southern line during the battle of El Alamein [North Africa]. It has very few inaccuracies that are normal in "war" film, It show, and gives the feel of what the soldiers endured in desert warfare during WW-II. Over the years, Italian forces have been shown as weak, unmotivated and quick to surrender. Today we know better. The Italian solider was just as brave as German and Allied forces, it was the leadership that failed. I have done research on the battles in the western desert for many years and this film is as real looking as it gets. Many have heard of Rommel's AFRIKAKORPs and British troops under Montgomery, THIS is the little known part that is must see.
