Great product
I was glad I purchased this. In one evening I was able to restore my 25 year old, hard used, crock sticks sharpener to a almost new condition. They are ready to sharpen 100s more knives and swords to a razors edge. I am very sure that if you used this on new ceramic sticks or stones after every use, they would stay pristine. I have not tried any other surfaces because my ceramics stick were the reason for purchasing.

Get a better charger!

This charger will not tell you your battery condition or when you are charged, the leds stays on all the time. Get a smart charger, the batteries there are better and worse, for the money they are ok. For $16.00 and up get yourself a smart charger.
